To promote smooth operations of the supply chain units, devise model stocking plans and prepare statistical models that will predict demand levels based on seasonality, business growth, marketing campaigns, etc.
- Develop detailed weekly / monthly supply plans by-product, article, and brand basis demand estimations received from relevant stakeholders to procure the required level of inventory and maintain the smooth operations of supply chain units - Develop long-term inventory plans for SCM units by taking into account the various considerations such as catchment preferences, peak seasons, campaigns planned, market trends, etc. - Identify the volume and type of inventory that need to be procured and up-stocked during seasons, festivals, campaigns and recommend the same to the Head – Supply & Inventory Planning - Constantly monitor the amount of inventory available across SCM units (buffer stock) to effectively manage the utilization of the same and avoid over/under stocking - Leverage data through the use of the analytics dashboards, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights that will help create robust short-term and long-term supply and inventory management plans for the SCM units - Study existing supply and inventory management processes in SCM units, analyze the root cause of any issues identified and provide suggestions for improvement to enhance operational efficiency - Liaise with IT to develop solutions for inventory planning, data management, dashboard creation, and report generation.
Approx. 4-7 years in Inventory planning and statistical modeling Expert-level knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint Preferable experience in developing models in R or Python
